DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING (DSD)
Part 1 — Theory
In our first 30-50 minutes, we'll go over all the required information you need to know about equipment, diving, and the essential skills a diver needs to learn.
Part 2— Practice Diver Skills
After assembling the equipment, you will put your wetsuit on, and we will jump in the water. Here, we will slowly descend the first 2 meters (6ft) deep, where we will practice all diver skills.
Part 3— Dive and Have Fun!
We will start our diving experience, which will last around 60 minutes.
Cenotes are the best location to learn diving because of their calm (no currents) and crystal clear water (complete visibility).
ABOUT CASA CENOTE
Known as Cenote Manatee, located 10km from Tulum and 35km from Playa del Carmen, this unique cenote is connected to one of the largest underwater cave systems in the world, the Nohoch Na Chich, and the Caribbean Ocean. The river flows 420 meters to the surface on a mangrove marshland and continues underground for more than 100 meters into the ocean.
This place is trendy for snorkelers and divers, especially for training purposes. There is a small parking lot and a great seafood restaurant (with toilets) just across the road in case you want to stay here, eat some great seafood and enjoy the beautiful ocean view.
