Cenote Dos Ojos, one of Mexico's most emblematic cenotes, is a big and beautiful paradise in the jungle of the Riviera Maya. With crystal clear shallow freshwater, expansive rooms, rock formations, stalactites, and stalagmites all around the cavern area. This underground river system is considered one of the longest, with around 80 km of caves and rooms. Good place for beginners and advanced divers, diving here is an unforgettable experience.

CASA CENOTE | 8 METERS DEPTH

Known also as Cenote Manatee, located 10km from Tulum and 35km from Playa del Carmen, this unique cenote connects to one of the largest underwater cave systems in the world, the Nohoch Na Chich, and the Caribbean Ocean. The river flows 420 meters to the surface on a mangrove marshland and continues underground for more than 100 meters into the ocean. The location is trendy for snorkelers and divers, especially for training purposes. There is a small parking lot and a great seafood restaurant (with toilets) just across the road in case you want to stay here, eat some great seafood and enjoy the beautiful ocean view.

CENOTE CARWASH | 15 METERS MAXIMUM DEPTH

Located 8 km outside Tulum on the road towards the famous Coba ruins. This Cenote has a big open water area, is widely used for cavern and cave diving training, and has a beautiful room with nice speleothems (stalactites and stalagmites), trees, and branches that have fallen near the cavern entrance. There is an excellent view as you come out of the cavern into the open water area, where you can see the fallen trees that, combined with the daylight, appear green grassy, which is a fantastic diving spot.

Cenote Nicte Ha

CENOTE NICTE HA | 18 METERS MAXIMUM DEPTH

Cenote Nicte-ha, from the Mayan “Nicte” (flower) + “Ha” water. The cenote is located within Parque Dos Ojos. It resembles a transparent emerald lake in a shallow limestone depression, nestled among an exuberant, colorful jungle environment; its particular flora grows above and below the surface of the water.

Here your buoyancy skills will be tested since, in some sections of the route, the pitches are "narrow" for inexperienced divers.

CENOTE PIT | 30 METERS MAXIMUM DEPTH

As part of the Dos Ojos underground river system, the cenote Pit has gained admiration and popularity due to its unique bell shape (small entrance and large, wide end) combined with 120 meters of depth and incredible visibility due to its crystal clear waters. As you descend through its different layers and the fresh and saltwater combination (halocline), you will find a hydrogen sulfite layer that looks like a white cloud that hides clear crystal waters underneath. The ceiling is fully decorated with the most amazing speleothems. It is possible to see an incredible light show as the sunbeam lights pass through the cenote's entrance to the bottom of it, making this a fantastic diving experience.  Animal bones and remnants from the ice age have been founded in this cenote.
