ABOUT CASA CENOTE | 8 METERS MAXIMUM DEPTH
Known as Cenote Manatee, located 10km from Tulum and 35km from Playa del Carmen, this unique cenote is connected to one of the largest underwater cave systems in the world, the Nohoch Na Chich, and the Caribbean Ocean. The river flows 420 meters to the surface on a mangrove marshland and continues underground for more than 100 meters into the ocean. The location is trendy for snorkelers and divers, especially for training purposes. There is a small parking lot and a great seafood restaurant (with toilets) just across the road in case you want to stay here, eat some great seafood and enjoy the beautiful ocean view.
ABOUT CENOTE CARWASH | 15 METERS MAXIMUM DEPTH
Located 8 km outside Tulum on the road towards the famous Coba ruins. This Cenote has a big open water area, is widely used for cavern and cave diving training, and has a beautiful room with nice speleothems (stalactites and stalagmites), trees, and branches that have fallen near the cavern entrance. There is an excellent view as you come out of the cavern into the open water area, where you can see the fallen trees that, combined with the daylight, appear green grassy, which is a fantastic diving spot.
